April 23 | Summit Session - Virtual | What I Wish I Knew About Mental Health

What I Wish I Knew About Mental Health

Four years ago, my personal mental health journey kicked off—though "journey" makes it sound way more glamorous than the rollercoaster of stress, anxiety, grief, identity crises, depression, and Bipolar II that it actually was. Fast forward to six months ago, I stepped into the mental health space in a professional capacity by launching a mental health nonprofit. Turns out, learning about mental health because you have to and learning about it from an educational lens are two very different experiences.

In this session, I’ll impart the knowledge I’ve gained— both from lived experience and my deep dive into the science behind it all. We’ll explore fundamental mental and behavioral health themes like self-awareness, uncertainty, fear, anxiety, stress, rewiring and more. Plus, I’ll connect the dots between these concepts and the entrepreneurial grind.

Join me on on Zoom on April 23 at 12:00pm CT for an open and honest conversation and casual discussion with participation for attendees willing to share their lessons learned. I hope you’ll leave feeling more informed and empowered to manage your mental health.

Hope to see you there!
